The G-Star Animation program was developed by Hollywood Film and Animation Industry professionals who created the work for Ironman, X-Men, Maleficent, Transformers, Tron: Legacy and Pirates of the Caribbean.  The G-Star Animation program teaches students to use cutting edge technology utilized by well-known companies such as, Pixar, Disney, Blue Sky & Dreamworks. Students will have access to a 3-year student license for Autodesk Maya & Mudbox. Throughout the school year, students will also have access to industry-quality characters and assets. An overview of projects includes, collaborative pieces that promote industry workflow, Character Animation, Environment Design, and Character Design. At the end of the program, students will have the opportunity to create a professional Demo Reel compiled with their best 3D work.
Animation Course Outline:
Basic overview of Animation History
Intro to Concept Design (Character Design, Storyboards)
Intro to 3D Modeling
Intro to 3D Lighting (3-point, 2-point, 1-point)
Intro to 3D Animation (Character)
Intro to 3D Rendering (Photo-realistic Renders)
