G-Star Theatre Department Troupe 6621 attended the Individual Event (IE) Festival at West Boca Raton High School. G-Star received 14 Superiors and 13 Excellents! Victoria Rogers won District’s Acting Scholarship and Tharmella Nyahoza won The Critic’s Choice for monologues. Congratulations Troupe 6621! Come see the IE performances here at G-Star. Attention all artists! Now is the time to enter your art work to G-Star’s First Mural Contest! Outreach Club and the Beautification Project are searching for artists to complete G-Star’s FIRST (and only) outdoor Mural. The theme is WONDER. Art should be submitted to Ms. Snedeker in J-204, or Mr. Hoy in A-108. Entries will be accepted until Friday, December 7th. The 3 pieces with the most schoolwide votes will be featured across G-Star’s campus. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of G-Star’s history, and have your art publically displayed!

It’s starting to get cold out and winter is in season! Come join Outreach Club on Friday, December 7th for a movie screening of the classic holiday film, Home Alone. Meet us in the sound stage at 5:30 pm. Bring a bean bag chair and your pj’s. Admission is free! There will be food tickets sold for $5 which will include: popcorn, candy, and your choice of drink. Attention all G-Star students! National Honor Society will be conducting a Toy Drive from now until December 18th. Please bring new, unwrapped toys that are appropriate for Pre-K – 5th grade students. Drop off locations will be in the front office, Media Center, H Building, and A-108. If you cannot donate a toy, we will also be conducting a Dollar Donation Drive. For every dollar donated for the Toy Drive, you will be entered in a drawing for a $50 Amazon Gift Card.
