G-STAR School of the Arts recruits students for entry into the 9th grade class each year. Some spaces for 10th and 11th graders are also available. Admission form can be downloaded in Word format.

The excitement of earning an A rating by the Department of Education was only matched by the news that G-Star was approved to be an accredited IB World School*→(link to www.ibo.org).  Furthermore, in their response to our application they stated “It is clear that a lot of thought and care has gone into this Authorization decision.  Kudos to the exactness, and pedagogical foundation that is exposed.  Because of your commitment to quality – IB is a perfect match!”

G-Star is now authorized for the IB Diploma Programme beginning the 2012-2013 school year.  Students will be accepted into our college preparatory program for the 2011-2012 school year, in anticipation that they will matriculate into the IB Diploma Programme fully prepared to meet its academic rigor.

·         G-Star is unique in that it will offer both Theatre and Film in the IB

·         Holistic view of education

·         IB Students graduate college at a rate of 80% compared to the US average in 2008 at 56%* - IB students are up to 25% more prepared to finish a four year university program

·         Centers around the well rounded student – Each student is required to meet outcomes focused on creativity, physical action, and service work
