G-Star Studios and School of the arts announces partnership with CineVideoTech Inc.

Palm Springs, FL (May 17, 2011) – The G-Star Studios and School of the Arts proudly announces its new partnership with CineVideoTech (CVT), one of Florida’s oldest and largest motion picture lighting, grip and camera companies, located in Miami and Orlando. CVT will expand its operations to include the G-Star Studios with permanent inventory on site. CVT will rent its equipment out to feature films, major commercials and music video productions that shoot on the G-Star Studios’ back lot and sound stage - and throughout Palm Beach County as well as provide custom packages to G-Star students for use on their school productions.

CVT will be at the G-Star School of the Arts on Friday, May 20th with 30 cameras and major equipment to train the students in all day seminars from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm.

CVT was founded in 1968 by Egon Stephan, Sr., a legend in the Florida Film Industry. The company’s legacy is carried on today by his son, Egon Stephan, Jr., having supplied the film equipment for the latest The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 (Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner), Gulliver’s Travels (Jack Black), Knight & Day (Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz), Dexter, CSI: Miami, Burn Notice, Ali(Will Smith), 2 Fast 2 Furious(Paul Walker, Eva Mendez), Into the Blue(Jessica Alba), Drop Zone(Wesley Snipes), Instinct (Anthony Hopkins), Mosquito Coast (Harrison Ford), and the now-in-production Rock of Ages with Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin and Catherine Zeta-Jones. CVT has worked with Universal Studios, Paramount Pictures, HBO, 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros., Tri-Star Pictures, MGM/UA, Viacom Productions, Orion, Columbia Pictures and HBO/Disney.

CVT was the first to bring Arri Cameras into Florida. CVT provided the state with the first helicopter mounts, the first Florida Panavision agency, the first Moviecams, the first complete one-stop motion picture rental shop and numerous others over its 43-year history. The spirit of innovation lives on today with their RED cameras and PL mounted Canon 7Ds as well as their unmatched LED lighting inventory.

G-Star School of the Arts (www.gstarschool.org) is the largest Film, Digital Media Production and Acting high school in the nation; and the only high school in the world that owns a commercial motion picture studio, the G-Star Studios (www.gstarstudios.com), where multi-million dollar feature films are produced. The G-Star Studios has the newest and most advanced movie sound stage in the world. This modern copy of a Warner Bros. sound stage is twice the size of the sound stage where Avatar was made and the same size as the sound stages where Jurassic Park III and the Ironman movies were produced. Over 50 feature films have been produced at the G-Star Studios as well as commercials by Nike and Abercrombie & Fitch, and music videos and rehearsals by Celine Dion, Rod Stewart, Stevie Nicks and Radiohead.
